Hello from Sunny San Diego! I'm off for a week traveling with Mark and the Nats--one of my favorite "perks" of being engaged to a sportswriter. I'm here in Cal. for four days and then we all head to Phoenix for a three day series against the D-backs and Mark's Grandma's 90th birthday. All very exciting.
My future father-in-law has joined us in in SD to hang out with me and go to ballgames. Yesterday, he took me to the Model Railroad Museum, which was WAY cool. On Monday, Mark and I went to the World-Famous San Diego Zoo and I got to feed a giraffe--definitely the coolest-thing-ever (so far this week). Today the three of us are off to Sea World where I am hoping to pet a manta ray and see penguins and have lunch with Shamu.
